Welcome to My World

Staying at home and being in control of the house was my initial dream when I started to become a freelance writer. The comfort of being at home while seeing my kids and enjoying a sip of my favorite tea in between my writing jobs was just plain fun and relaxing.

However, as time flew, being in control -- not with the chores at home but with my life in general -- made me feel complete and happy, both as a mom and as a professional. I get to choose the jobs that I want and I am interested at. I also get the chance to explore the things that I still want to do in life, in spite of and despite having 2 children and household responsibilities at tow.

Being a stay-at-home mom gave me power over demanding bosses, underpaid jobs, overpriced taxi fares, and nosy colleagues. Being a stay-at-home mom allowed me to enjoy the things in life that I value the most -- my family and my personal goals as a professional writer, a wife and a mother.

I want to share that experience to all of you, With that, this blog was born.

About Me

My photo

A graduate of Civil Engineering but a writer by heart was the main reason why I figured out that the corporate life was not for me. I enjoyed being at home, far from the competitive atmosphere of a typical 8-hour job. I hated the idea of extending work hours at the office or bringing work at home. I cringe about the idea of having to prioritize work over my family and living. Luckily, i managed to break free from the corporate world after seven grueling years. Although I must say that I have learned a lot both personally and professionally from my office job, I would never see myself turning back after being able to achieve my dream of being at home and working online. As I try to reach my first million while working online I also plan on entering a home-based business in between blogging and taking care of my kids.
